If it had the Olympic colours, it probably would have been less subtle, but let's be honest, I don't think a lot of people, myself included, initially saw an obscene gesture made with one's hands, but a body part that people are more discreet about. I wonder if the people who were behind <a href="http://2010.dailyvancouver.com/blog/richard-eriksson/2010-riot">the 2010 Riot stencils</a> are behind this poster as well.</p> Vancouver 2010 Thu, 02 Nov 2006 15:26:46 -0800 http://2010.dailyvancouver.com/blog/richard-eriksson/2010-riot <a title="2010 Riot" style="float:right;" href="http://www2.flickr.com/photos/cabbit/109346374/"><img src="http://static.flickr.com/35/109346374_470bca80be_m.jpg"></a> <p>In my scans for photos tagged with both 'vancouver' and 'olympics' on Flickr (the script I whipped up to give me RSS of that seems to be getting more and better results than <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/search/tags:olympics%2Cvancouver/tagmode:all/">a tag search</a>), I found <a href="http://www.goldengod.net/">Andrew</a>'s photo you see to your right which has someone spray-painting "2010 RIOT" in public places. A quick search for <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=%222010+riot%22">'2010 riot'</a> found <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/43517501@N00/72193459/">another photo</a>, this time with a nametag with the phrase.</p> 2010 2010 riot riot Vancouver Vancouver 2010 Tue, 14 Mar 2006 21:14:49 -0800
