Ross Rebagliati is NOT Competing for Another Country in the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler

Here's an interesting comment I got in response to an earlier post about Ross Rebagliati's plan to make a comeback for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler. The comment is from his wife, Alexandra and should help clear up any of the rumors that other media outlets may have started.
"Ross is NOT competing for another country! The response was taken out of context.
Ross needs to build up points before he can race on the Canadian team. He has to start at the amateur level and work his way up point wise before he can compete on the World Cup Circuit. Even though he can beat the guys on the circuit now it doesn't matter, he has to start from the ground up again.
The reporter asked Ross is he couldn't build up the points in time and Canada would not let Ross race for Canada would he just not compete in 2010. Ross answered that he would do whatever it took to get to make it to the Olympics. The reporter later asked me questions about being American and then made it out like Ross was going to race for the States. It is completely FALSE. Ross would not dream of racing for any country other than CANADA!"
