Athlete Profile: Nathan Smith - "Fired-up Smith eyeing 2010"

Here's a good article by Lauren MacGillivray about Nathan Smith, who has set his sites on competing in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics in the biathlon. Incidently, I shot a simulated biathlon rifle this weekend at Science World and scored a 19.2 out of 20. :)

"Failing to make the Canadian junior biathlon team last year turned out to be the push Nathan Smith was looking for in his quest to make the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games.

Sure, it wasn't fun at the time. After spending the two previous years with the national program, he failed to qualify when he caught the flu and turned in a poor performance at the national championships."
